Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC) is a leading non-profit paediatric health organization in Cambodia, located in Siem Reap, home of the famous Angkorian temples.  Each year over 180,000 treatments are performed by a contingent of expertly trained Cambodian medical staff, at no charge to the child or family.  The vision of the organization is that all Cambodian children have access to quality compassionate medical care, wherever they live and whatever their ability to pay.

Angkor Hospital for Children takes a holistic approach focusing on treatment, education and prevention. Yet, AHC is more than a hospital, and through various strategic partnerships with well-renowned institutions such as Oxford University and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK), strives to tackle large global child health concerns including the reduction of neonatal and child mortality and morbidity, antibiotic resistance and stewardship and the treatment of childhood cancer.

Additionally, AHC works closely with local partners and the Cambodian Government in order to strengthen the national health system and educate Cambodia’s new generation of healthcare professionals.
