The cycling community in Malacca celebrated the opening of a bicycle cafe with a morning ride just yesterday. Terminal B, a cafe equipped with bicycling facilities opens its doors to cyclists who need a pit stop before pedalling on.
Over 300 cyclists gathered yesterday for a 25km ride to celebrate the launch of the cafe in Taman Malim Jaya.
Terminal B, manager Annabelle Tui, 33, said café is fast-gaining popularity and was already frequented by the cycling community in the pre-opening days leading up to the launch.
“We can see already there is a big cycling community here in Melaka, but there aren’t any such facilities which cater specifically to their needs,” she said.
The cafe not only serves food and drinks, including an elaborate coffee list, it’s facilities include hangers and slots for cyclists to park their bikes and shower rooms for use, post ride.
