CHAINS THAT BIND: CHARITY DRIVE BRINGS TOGETHER INDUSTRIES FOR ONE PURPOSE
RK Takasago Chain, the pioneer in roller chain industry, has announced a partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Malaysian National Cycling Federation (MNCF) and Malaysia’s number 1 e-commerce platform, Shopee.
A renowned brand to professional cyclists and cycling enthusiasts, RK Chain manufactures bicycle chains as well as motorcycle and industrial chains since 1953.
To kick-off the charity drive to raise RM1.5 million, every purchase of an RK bicycle chain on Shopee between 1st to 30th November 2019 will contribute 50% of the revenue towards the Malaysian National Cycling Team.
The proceeds will go to the improvement of equipment and facilities needed for the national cycling team. The funds will also be used for the athletes to participate and compete professionally in more national and international competitions.
With RK Chain’s modern infrastructure and state-of-the-art machinery, the brand will be specially designing and producing bicycle chains for the national cycling team.
